WALT: develop fundamental skills required for athletics 

WILF: - Correct technique for throwing the discus and shotput

Correct technique for long jump and high jump

Passing the baton accurately in relay sprints

I am proud of shot put

It was a challenge for me to do high jump but I got past the third level 

My next step is to be a champ 

Next year I would like to become a champ

My best event was shot put because I got it in the last zone

WALT: develop the skills or batting, bowling, throwing, and fielding in cricket

WILF: 

- overarm throwing when fielding

- catching with hands held like a basket

- straight arm bowling

- eyes on the ball and move the bat all the way through when batting

The skill I am best at is catching because I'm really good at it 

My next step is to get better at bolling 

Reading

Camp!

WALT use wow words in our writing 

Camp

Mud is brown in the mud run.

Grass is green on the paddocks we ride horses on.

Waters blue in the river we raft on.

Camp is fun!

The moon shines bright at night as we slept in the bivys

At the bivy the stars were sparkling diamonds.

Acrostic poem

Cookies at morning tea and lunch.

Ate like a king.

Mud all over our faces.

People running around having fun.

CAMP

The current looked calm as it drifted. it wasn't calm it pulled as like a rope.

The bees buzzed as the collected pollen.

The daisy's are spread out through the field.

We covered our bivy with a tarp it was like a shield.

The mud was still until children run through it.

Pokemon go adventure 

I biked in the windy hot muggy day, my hair was dripping with sweat my feet we're burning. Was day to Brock’s house with Tama the track was literally on fire. We were going for a meeting. We 

We're catching Pokémon on the way suddenly a man came out “ do you want a iPhone 7?”

“NO”

“Run Tama”

We biked away We went to Brock's. A wild dragonite came out we ran towards it it was ??? Cp.

I caught it with a master ball,after we caught that Pokemon we went into Brock's room we talked about what we are going to make in the future. 

“How about pokèmon go,minecraft,madden,NBA;roblox and challenges”. 

“Ok we will be on your way now”.

We biked back to the place where the creepy guy was;he was still there “do you want a iPhone 8s plus” 

“Tama said yes”. 

Tama grabbed the phone suddenly the man grabbed him he threw him into the van. I raced over to the van opened the door but Tama wasn't there. It was a fake van.

The van took off it was over. I started to cry. Tama was still playing Pokémon go I could track him. He was at a abandon warehouse I dressed up as a worker I grabbed Tama and said “I will lock him in a cell”. We ran out and biked away. After that Tama went home.

Kapa Haka festival

On Monday 19th September the Kapa Haka group performed at a festival at bay city. We preformed for 15 minutes and we scared them away I felt extremely nervous.

Reading

WALT: work collaboratively to have a better understanding of what we read.

-What we have been doing: reciprocal reading,taking turns at clarifying,summarising predicting and questioning we take one week to read one story

My next step: I need to use synonymous for clarifying more

Bored

There I was sitting on the couch wondering what I could do.

I couldn't be stuffed walking to going to get my iPad. I didn't want to get a friend over. I also didn't want to go to a fun place. Or going outside and playing rugby. I just wanted to sleep all day. I Thought, I wanted to go pokèmon go I went outside and uwent straight back inside.  Then I sleeped for the rest of the day

Writing workshops

In the school holidays I basically lived at Inflatable World. I went there for birthday party's and just for fun. I literally went on one million rides. It has changed since the last time I was there, there was a cliff jump and a basketball arena.

I saw four big platforms it was a challenge to get across them. 

I heard kids screaming while they were running across the platforms. It didn't really smell like anything it sort of smell like gas.

It felt soft and squishy on the platforms. I 360ed of the cliff jump, The cliff jump was huge. Temana said “was it freaky”.

“No it feels great”. I replied, we went to the basketball arena we kept on dunking the basketballs. We got bored and went home.

SIKE

We meet this guy named Eli we flipped and 360ed.

We went on slides. I slipped of the cliff jump,luckily no one went at the same time. 

Earth to Mars

Our task was to choose a planet of our choice and do instructions 

Task: write a set of instructions on how to get from Earth to a planet of your choice.

WALT:

- a chosen planet’s location in the solar system.

- a chosen planet’s distance from earth.

- planets you will pass by to get to the chosen planet.

- obstacles that may be on the journey, e.g. Atmosphere, moons...

This is one of the stories that I read from a journal

This is a story about a crayfish getting out of a fridge and then they help the crayfish get back they were going through the hedge and then teabag the dog got the crayfish and put it back in the ocean.
